In truth, this moment was inevitable even 20 months ago when Greece started begging, even when its declared debts were only 50% of the true figure. The Greeks had already been doomed. Beware of Greeks bearing gifts! But worse are Greeks with a hand full of gimmee!
Winsome Angela had played kissy face with Mr Carla Bruni, aka Nicky Boy Sarkozy, in a guise to save Greece. If Angela and her French toy boy were happy, the Greek problem must be resolved! That's what she wanted us to think. But reality would not keep its ugly serpentine head down. And besides, Nicky Boy had Carla Bruni at home!
Christine Lagarde, the woman who became Chairwoman of the IMF after Dominique Strauss-Kahn resigned because of a false accusation of rape, feels a Greek default is inconceivable! The only thing more airy than Christine's smile is her intellect. Any idiot could tell Greece was in the tank.
George Soros is a man with whom I rarely agree. He shouldn't take that personally, since I rarely agree with other turn-coat Nazi-sympathising Jews, either. But Georgie says Greece is in the tank. I agree. However, he thinks it could still be part of the eurozone after the default. I say Georgie is wrong. I say he is wrong and I say this proves my contention that Soros is not smart enough to be who he claims. This man is a puppet with a ChiCom hand up his tuchas. Note: ChiCom refers to Chinese Communist not Chicago Communist.
NOTE: Soros must have hacked my computer! Now he claims the euro crisis might wreck the EU.
In fairness, Greece might still be a member of the eurozone as the whole area slides into financial purgatory!
The Greek crisis is a lesson for all of us. Spend too much, work too little, and bad things happen. Bad things happen even if you have a fairy god mother who really really wants to bail you out of trouble.
So, Zorba, Dmitri, and Stavros, I wish you good luck. If Greece becomes a cheap place to holiday again, I'll come for a visit. I'll come for a visit if we aren't forced to default, too!
